Summer trip to Idaho

We are preparing for our summer trip to Idaho. It is always a great opportunity for the boys to get a sense of where I grew up. We are hoping to fish, go huckleberry picking, water ski and visit with our family.

This picture is taken last year - Diego with "papa" and Jim (the horse). I am not sure if this really is Jim, at some point there was a Jim, thus to Diego every horse is named 'Jim.'

Great memories! Diego adores his grandpa. Trucks, backhoes, horses - that is how to win over a 3 year old.

We are going to be spending the first half of the trip in Montana visiting my brother and his awesome family. Then we will go north, to my hometown of Rigby. The most important aspect of the trip - I plan on having a tiger's blood shaved ice in my hand everyday (possible all day). I have confirmed the hours and we will not set out for our days until they are open and the order has been taken. Only those close to me know how serious I am....

Tiger's Eye is the best! Brings back a lot of summertime memories of hanging out with siblings while they worked the Sno Shack.

I can't believe you don't have any snow shacks in Seattle...hey, maybe you should open one. You and Diego could run it! I bet you'd bring in a ton of dough!
